Gardaí investigating a serious assault in North Dublin in the early hours of this morning have arrested a 27-year-old man for questioning.
Emergency services received a report at around 3am of a seriously injured man at Premier Square apartments in Finglas, Dublin 11.
The 37-year-old man was taken to the Mater Hospital with head injuries and has since been transferred to Beaumont Hospital.
Gardaí arrested a man later at an address in Ballymun. He is being held under the Criminal Justice Act.
