A man is due to appear in court today after he poured petrol over himself and a number of cars outside a Garda station in Co Louth.
The 33-year-old man entered the car-park of Drogheda Garda station at about 8pm yesterday, where he proceeded to douse himself and the cars in petrol.
He was tackled by a garda who noticed what was happening. He was subsequently arrested and detained at the station, and was due to appear in Dublin District Court today charged in relation to the offence.
