Man dies in Donegal collision

A man in his 50s has died following a two-vehicle collision in Co Donegal this afternoon.

A man in his 50s has died following a two-vehicle collision in Co Donegal this afternoon.

The crash, which happened on the R238 Redcastle to Moville Road at about 4.35pm today, involved a 4x4 vehicle and a car.

The man who died was the sole occupant of the car.

The male driver of the 4x4 vehicle was injured and taken to hospital. Four other occupants were treated for minor injuries.

The road is currently closed pending an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Local diversions are in place.
