A man (32) has died after the lorry he was driving crashed on the M8 Dublin to Cork motorway earlier this evening.
The crash happened close to Junction 10 at Cahir in Co Tipperary at about 6pm.
The lorry collided with an embankment before coming to a stop in a field. No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was taken to South Tipperary general hospital in Clonmel for a postmortem examination.
The motorway has been reduced to one lane for traffic travelling northbound at Junction 10.
