A male pedestrian in his 50s was killed early this morning after being knocked down by a car in Co Cork.
The man died in Nadrid, Coachford at 1.30 a.m. Gardaí arrested a man in connection with the incident and later released him without charge.
A Garda spokeswoman said a file would be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
