A 20-year-old man with a Dublin address was this evening charged in connection with a woman's stabbing in Tramore, Co Waterford, yesterday.
Mr Alan Curtis, of Stanaway Road, Crumlin, has been charged with assaulting the 25-year-old woman who remains in a serious but stable condition at Waterford Regional Hospital.
The accused was given free legal aid and remanded in custody until a court appearance later this week.
