Man arrested in Cork in revenue inquiry

A man (51) arrested early this morning in connection with organised crime in Cork has had his detention extended.

A man (51) arrested early this morning in connection with organised crime in Cork has had his detention extended.

It is understood the man is being questioned in connection with revenue-related offences at Bridewell Garda station in the city.

He was arrested at around 7am as part of an investigation by the Criminal Assets Bureau.
