A jury at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court has acquitted a Co Louth man of the manslaughter of another man who drowned in the River Liffey on October 22nd, 1998. Mr Robert Woods (26), Carmelite Cottages, Drogheda, had pleaded not guilty to the unlawful killing of Barry Grant (20), Clonee, Co Meath.
