London - Former Desert Rat Mr Ernest Pink (83), from Manchester, was cautioned by police after he admitting trying to pass a faked prescription for Viagra at his local chemist.

Mr Pink, a retired taxi driver, told the Manchester Evening News that he only wanted to lead a "normal life" with his 39-year-old girlfriend.

"I was caught and it was a bit shocking to be arrested, but the police were very nice about it," Mr Pink said.
