A 50-year-old man, named by gardai as Mr Anthony O'Loughlin, died in a fire at his home in Co Clare early yesterday morning. The alarm was raised at around 2.30 a.m. when the downstairs section of the house at Kilnasoolagh Park in Newmarket-on-Fergus, was discovered on fire.
