A 23-year old man has been charged with the murder of a Co Clare woman earlier this year.
Raymond Donovan of 1, New Houses, Cooraclare was charged at Ennis District Court with the murder of Ann Walsh (23) at Toler Street, Kilrush on August 24th.
The court heard that when charged with the murder, Mr Donovan replied: "I didn't mean to do it."
Mr Donavan also appeared in connection with 10 summons against him arising from alleged criminal damage, public order matters and driving offences between November 2002 and June 2004 at Ennis and Kilrush.

Judge Leo Malone granted Mr Donovan free legal aid and remanded him in custody acceded to re-appear at Lisdoonvarna District Court next week.
