• 98% of couples intend to remain married to the same person
• 7% have seriously considered separation or divorce
• 86% would recommend marriage to another couple intending to marry
• 58% of couples lived with their spouse before marriage
• 93% of children of married couples surveyed are born after marriage
• 77% of couples are "very happy" with their marriage
• 31% say that most couples they know have happy, healthy marriages
