London - Makers of a documentary pulled from BBC1 schedules after it was hoaxed by the Sun newspaper threatened legal action last night against the newspaper for its "wilful deception".

The documentary, Everyman: Addicted To Love, has been taken out of Sunday's schedules after the paper revealed "sex addict" Andrea, filmed over several months, was its own reporter. Independent programme makers Planet Wild, owned by Planet 24, were considering their legal options, a BBC spokeswoman said.
