London - An asylum seeker from Kuwait appeared in court yesterday in connection with the discovery of the body of a woman in a suitcase at Heathrow airport.

Mr Abdel Ahmed Wahid (24), of Portsea Hall, Portsea Place, near Marble Arch, in central London, was charged under the Criminal Law Act 1967 with assisting an offender in connection with the case.

He was remanded in custody by Marylebone Magistrates until July 30th.
