Liverpool's Harry Kewell is expected back in training next week after damaging ankle ligaments.
He was forced to miss the club's tour of the Far East after picking up the injury in a friendly against Crewe last weekend.
Manager Gerard Houllier said: "I spoke to the physio and Harry is doing ok. He can't kick a ball yet, but by the beginning of next week he will be able to join in training.
Liverpool continued their preparation for the new season with a 3-1 friendly win over Thailand yesterday.
