Journalists at Independent Newspapers are to seek a meeting with the management of Independent Newspapers (UK) over the decision of the British subsidiary of the Independent group to withdraw recognition of the National Union of Journalists at North West London Newspapers.
The NUJ chapel (section) at the Irish Independent is seeking a meeting with Dublin management over the dispute "to clarify the implications of the London decision in relation to staff security and employment in the three main Irish titles."
