The Independent Radio and Television Commission is inviting applications for community radio services in five localities.
The areas are south-east Dublin (which may include Dun Laoghaire, Blackrock, Glasthule, Monkstown, Sallynoggin, Dalkey, Killiney, Cabinteely, Deansgrange, Foxrock and Cornelscourt), Celbridge, Co Kildare, north Cork city, Cashel, Co Tipperary, and Knock, Co Mayo.
A community of interest radio licence is also to be offered for the student community in Waterford city. Applicants should contact the IRTC from tomorrow.
