An Irish senior counsel, Ms Maureen Clark, has been elected by the UN as a part-time judge of the War Crimes Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, reports Carol Coulter, Legal Affairs Correspondent.
Ms Clark has specialised in criminal law since she was called to the Bar in 1975. She became a member of the Inner Bar in 1991.
