Woman found seriously injured on roadside in west Dublin

Gardaí believe woman may have been victim of hit and run road incident in Clonsilla

A woman in her 30s has been found seriously injured on a roadside in Clonsilla, west Dublin 15.

Gardaí are investigating whether she was the victim of a hit and run incident.

She was found at 3.40am on Sunday at Lohunda Dale and was taken to James Connolly Memorial Hospital, Blanchardstown before being transferred to Beaumont Hospital. Her condition is described as critical.

The woman had taken a taxi from Harcourt Street in Dublin 2 to the Clonsilla area before being found.
