FlightFest: the river Liffey, Dublin

Events building up the biggest fly past in Irish aviation get going at midday on Sunday. Over 35 aircraft, old and new, will fly past. The quays will be pedestrianised between the Customs House and Dublin Port so spectators can catch a comfortable glimpse of the low flying planes following the Liffey’s path right through the city centre. It is weather dependent so it’s best the check it will go ahead beforehand. The event, which is free, is part of the Gathering celebrations.

All-Ireland Camogie Finals: Croke Park, Dublin

If last weekend's All Ireland Senior hurling final taught us anything it's that the game with the sliotar and sticks never ceases to amaze. On Sunday fans will be hoping for more of the same when the All-Ireland Camogie finals kick-off at 12pm with Kildare taking on Laois in the junior tournament. This will be followed by Limerick and Galway in the intermediate final. Galway play Kilkenny in the senior final.

Dingle Tradfest 2013: Dingle, Co Kerry

Now in it's third year the festival claims to promote traditional Irish music in an innovative way. Tomorrow night the Festival concert "A Tribute to Tony Small, " starts in St James' Church on main street at 7:30pm and the Trad Disco with DJ Conor Crimmins kicks off at 11:30 in the Hillgrove nightclub. On Sunday there will be the Coirmcheoil - The Lowtone Trio & MOXIE - which is followed by Festival Club at McCarthy's Bar on Goat street.

Irish Bog Snorkeling Championships 2013: Castleblayney, Co Monaghan

If swimming two lengths of a 55 metre water filled trench cut through a peat bog sounds like your thing then check out this year’s Bog Snorkeling Championships in Castleblayney.

Tomorrow there will be Bog Snorkelling, an 80-foot mudslide and Zorbing (i.e. rolling down hills inside a giant inflatable ball), while tomorrow (Sunday) it’s time for some “bog bath racing”. The championships, which are now in their fifth year, take place at Alice’s Loft & Cottages just outside Castleblayney in Co Monaghan.
