Ireland lost 2-0 to England in the final game of the test series at Cannock Hockey Club today.

The game was scoreless at half time but shortly after the restart England scored both goals in a five-minute period.

Although Ireland dominated the last fifteen minutes, carving out several opportunities, it was to no avail.Ireland will now play to host to England at the National Hockey Stadium, Dublin on June 13th and 15th as they continue their preparations for the European Nations Cup in Barcelona from in September.

Ireland drew (2-2) their opening game of the series then lost 2-1 yesterday before today's final game.
