Fulham have signed midfielder Junichi Inamoto on a one-year loan deal from Japanese club Gamba Osaka, according to reports.
Inamoto moves with a view to a permanent transfer, after being released from a loan contract by Arsenal at the end of last season.
His current club would be looking for a £3 million sterling fee if the move became permanent.
Inamoto, 22, failed to make a Premiership appearance with Arsenal last season, but captured the imagination of his nation with a string of fine performances in the World Cup.
