Other findings from the survey
• Only two respondents out of 513 said they would seek health information from their pharmacist;
• 90 per cent of children below 16 undertake some form of exercise;
• Almost all respondents felt safe when walking alone during the day. But only 39 per cent felt very safe when walking alone at night; q Women and people living in rural areas felt least safe when walking alone at night;

• Most of those surveyed said their workplace was either fairly supportive (25 per cent) or very supportive (32 per cent) of family life. But 12 per cent said their workplace was unsupportive;
• 12 per cent had contacted a local councillor or TD in the previous six months.
