Gardaí name man killed in Limerick crash

Gardaí in Limerick have named the 36-year-old man who died following a two-vehicle collision on Wednesday evening.

He has been named as 36-year-old Kevin Doherty of Charlestown.

Mr Doherty was the sole occupant of one of the two cars involved. in the collision. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The incident occurred between Newcastle West and Abbeyfeale on the N21 Limerick to Tralee road at shortly after 11.30pm.

Two men who were in the second vehicle were not injured in the crash.
