Gardaí are investigating a burglary in which several people were tied up in Killiney, Co Dublin, last night.
Armed thieves broke into the house in Killiney shortly after 11 p.m. and tied up the four occupants.
Three of the bound occupants were then put into the boots of cars. The thieves made their escape when the person remaining in the house managed to raise the alarm.
Two of the house occupants were later treated for their injuries, which were not thought to be serious.
