The city centre service had been suspended for several days while Dublin City Council’s buildings department carried out work on buildings adjacent to the tracks on Benburb Street.

Veolia Transport, which runs the Luas service, said that trams were now travelling onwards from the Heuston stop to the city centre and serving Connolly and the Point stops.
