Berlin - A French-directed English-language film, Intimacy, which stirred controversy because of explicit and extensive sex scenes, won the Berlin Film Festival's prestigious Golden Bear for best film yesterday.
Traffic, a film starring Michael Douglas as a US anti-drug chief waging a losing battle against drugs in America, won a Silver Bear for best actor.
