Firefighters in Dublin rescued a  73 year-old man from a burning building in Dublin today. The man is understood to be in a critical condition in St James's Hospital.

Firefighters in Dublin rescued a  73 year-old man from a burning building in Dublin today. The man is understood to be in a critical condition in St James's Hospital.

The man suffered burns and severe effects of smoke inhalation in the fire at Lincoln Place, in the south inner city.

A firefighter who rescued him was also treated in hospital.
