Gardai and the Health and Safety Authority have begun investigations into an incident yesterday in which a man was killed in a farm accident in Co Mayo.

He died when the dumper he was driving overturned while he was removing a boulder from land in Cappagh.

The dead man was a 52-year-old farmer and agricultural contractor from Dromady, Mayo Abbey, Claremorris. He was married with four children.
