Family of four killed by gas blast in home

Glasgow - A family of four was killed today in a suspected gas explosion which tore their bungalow apart.

Glasgow - A family of four was killed today in a suspected gas explosion which tore their bungalow apart.

The bodies of a mother and two children were pulled from their wrecked home in Larkhall in Lanarkshire, south east of Glasgow. The couple were named locally as Janette and Andrew Findlay, their daughter Stacey (13) and son Daryl (11).

Rescuers are continuing to search for the body of Mr Findlay using thermal imaging equipment.
