Eminem 'delighted' as first Irish gig confirmed

Controversial American rap artist Eminem is to perform at Punchestown Racecourse in June, it was confirmed today.

Controversial American rap artist Eminem is to perform at Punchestown Racecourse in June, it was confirmed today.

Subject to licence, the concert will take place on June 26th with tickets priced at €52.50. They are due to go on sale on Saturday, February 8th. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied at the show by a parent or guardian.

Speaking today, Eminem said: "The Irish people have been extremely supportive of me and I'm delighted to be coming to Ireland for the first time".
