Lunchtime Leadership Lecture at NCI

The National College of Irelands free public leadership talks continue tomorrow, with Maeve Donovan, managing director of The Irish Times. The event takes place on campus in the IFSC from 1pm to 2pm and is aimed at students, the business community and interested members of the general public. Admission is free but attendees must register online at www.ncirl.ie

Debate on Development

Rap and Science for Second-level pupils

Science Raps Challenge is a new initiative aimed at second-level students who are asked to express their thoughts about science and technology through rap music.

Students of all ages can participate. Entrants must compose and video their own Science Rap, upload it on YouTube and send in the link on a completed application form. Closing date for receipt of entries is Friday, October 23rd.

The competition is organised by the Alimentary Pharmabiotic Centre (APC), University College Cork and Teagasc, Cork.

The Institute of Child Education and Psychology Europe (ICEP) is accepting applications for its online courses in the area of special educational needs which will run from October 12th to December 4th.
