DIT Portfolios Due: Portfolios are now due from applicants for the following Dublin Institute of Technology undergraduate programmes - Photography (FT259); Design - Interior and Furniture Design (FT544); Design - Visual Communication (FT545); Fine Art (FT546); Design - Display (DT515)

Portfolios must be submitted on Thursday, March 11th and Friday, March 12th between 9.30 a.m. and 4.40 p.m. to DIT Portland Row, Dublin 1.

Third-level Education Development Conference

Development Co-operation Ireland's conference on "Globalisation and Inclusion: Challenges for professional education in the third-level sector" is taking place in University College Cork (UCC) on Monday, May 31st (6.30 p.m.- 10 p.m.) and Tuesday, June 1st (9 a.m. -4 p.m.).

The conference seeks development-focused submissions from various faculties and fields across the third-level sector (i.e. arts, sciences, medicine, social sciences, education, business, etc.). History Teachers' Association of Ireland Seminar

The Dublin branch is holding its annual sixth-form seminar in the Edmund Burke Theatre, Trinity College Dublin, on Saturday, March 13th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be three lectures - Cumann na nGaedheal, Stalin and the USSR and advice and guidelines on answering the Leaving Certificate history paper.
