Euro award for UCC's grad mag

The Graduate, UCC's alumni magazine has won a European magazine competition on its first international outing. The competition was organised by European Communicators in Business, known as FEIEA.

The 40-page full-colour magazine has already several times distinguished itself at national level. Established 14 years ago and edited since by the university's research information officer, Ruth McDonnell, whose last issue won the award, it is now edited by Orlaith O'Callaghan.

"I'm delighted my final issue did so well and I'm sure its success will continue," said Murphy.

The magazine has a circulation of almost 40,000 UCC graduates.
