Richard Dunne has been omitted from the Manchester City squad to face West Ham at Upton Park tomorrow while Shaun Goater also misses out through injury.
Dunne, who narrowly avoided the sack because of well-publicised disciplinary problems, will stay behind and train on his own as part of a new programme designed to get the Ireland international fully fit.
Meanwhile, Goater, who had put himself in line for a starting berth after his goalscoring introduction against Blackburn last week, has suffered a groin injury in training which rules him out.
Danny Tiatto's apology for his red card shame against Rovers has gone down well with manager Kevin Keegan and the Australian has been included, as have Steve Howey and Darren Huckerby, who have both overcome minor niggles which kept them out of last Sunday's 2-2 draw.
