Gardaí seized drugs worth €10,000 in two raids in Dublin yesterday.

Gardaí seized drugs worth €10,000 in two raids in Dublin yesterday.

The Drugs Unit at Ballyfermot Garda station made the siezures in the Cherry Orchard area.

In the first search, cocaine worth €5,000 was seized and no arrests were made. In the second search, heroin worth €5,000, a sawn-off shotgun, a sawn-off rifle and shotgun cartridges were discovered..

One man was arrested in relation to the second find and is being held at Ballyfermot Garda station under Section 30 Offences Against the State Act.
