The University of Limerick has received a "significant donation" to fund an AIB professorship of Information Management for five years.
A university spokesman announced yesterday that the funding will be used to appoint "a leading expert in the increasingly important field of information management and to support a programme of research in this inter-disciplinary area which focuses on guiding and assisting large, knowledge-based enterprises".
