Seven motorists arrested for drink- and drug- driving in Dublin

Seven motorists were arrested for drink- and drug- driving in Dublin city on Saturday night.

They were arrested at mandatory intoxication checkpoints by gardaí from the roads policing unit.

Three people tested positive for cocaine at one checkpoint

The checkpoints were carried out as part of bank holiday weekend high visibility policing operations in Dublin city centre.
