Man charged over fatal shooting of Keith Conlon (36) in Tallaght

A man who was arrested after the fatal shooting of Keith Conlon (36) in Tallaght, Dublin, on Tuesday has been charged by gardaí.

The suspect, who is in his 50s, was due to appear before Tallaght District Court on Friday.

Mr Conlon was fatally shot during an incident at Hazelgrove Farm off the Blessington Road south of Tallaght on Tuesday at about 1pm.

A legally held handgun was recovered at the scene and the suspect was arrested after gardaí arrived.

The man has been detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act at Tallaght Garda station since his arrest on Tuesday.
