Intervarsity moot court competition
The annual intervarsity moot court competition, hosted by Trinity College Dublin and sponsored by Holland Knight, will take place tomorrow in Grattan's Parliament, Bank of Ireland, Dublin, at 7pm. Teams from Trinity, UCD, UCC and NUI Galway will compete.
The Chief Justice, Mr Justice John Murray, former Chief Justice Mr Justice Ronan Keane, former Supreme Court judge Mr Justice Hugh Geoghegan, and Ms Justice Mary Finlay- Geoghegan of the High Court will preside.
Belfast briefings on pensions law
Eversheds is hosting a free briefing on pensions law at the Hilton Hotel, Belfast, on March 21st from 4pm to 6pm on the Pensions Regulator: the latest from the Regulatory Front Line.
The briefings will deal with the latest developments in pensions law in Britain and Ireland.

Engineers seminar on evidence
First Law and Engineers Ireland will hold a seminar on the presentation of expert evidence by engineers on March 21st from 4.30pm to 6.30pm in the offices of Engineers Ireland, 22 Clyde Road, Dublin 4.
Speakers are Michael Counihan SC and consulting engineer Ciarán Fahy.
The seminar costs €75, €60 for members of Engineers Ireland or customers of First Law. CPD points are available.

Forum on European competition law
An Irish Society for European Law forum on competition law takes place on Wednesday, March 23rd at 6.30pm in the offices of AL Goodbody at the IFSC in Dublin, on the subject of the European Commission's new rules for horizontal co-operation agreements between competitors.
Speakers include Donnchadh Woods of the European Commission, Bonnie Costello from Matheson, Ormsby Prentice and Prof Imelda Maher of UCD. It will be chaired by Pat Massey, director of Compecon. To register, e-mail
