Clinton trip

Once Hillary Clinton was elected to the US Senate this week she and husband President Bill Clinton began finalising their trip to Ireland which, barring an escalation of trouble in the North, is due in mid December. The plan is to visit Belfast, Dublin and Galway, but doubt was cast over the trip later this week when it appeared the President's presence might be required in the US to sort out the unresolved election of a successor.
