A rescheduled three-day Cheltenham Festival will start
on Tuesday April 17th, it was announced today.
The announcement ends the uncertainty surrounding the meeting which was postponed last Wednesday when it was found the course could not meet British Horseracing Board guidelines governing racing during the foot-and-mouth crisis.
The new dates mean that the festival would not clash with the Punchestown Festival the following week, should it be allowed to go ahead.
