Gardaí in Co Carlow are investigating the alleged abduction of a local man early this morning.
He was allegedly taken from Bridge Street in Tullow, Co Carlow, by three men at around 1am.
He was then assaulted and driven to Co Wexford where two women found the 48-year-old man tied to a telephone pole near Bunclody this morning.
Gardaí are looking for the man's white Ford Transit van which has a 2005 Kildare number plate.
