Phnom Penh - Fighting flared in northern Cambodia yesterday after the government leader, Mr Hun Sen, rejected regional efforts to mediate in Cambodia's crisis. Meanwhile, the ousted Prince Norodom Ranariddh arrived in Singapore for talks with Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong and warned that Mr Hun Sen's rejection of a south-east Asian mediation attempt would provoke a return to war.
