The British-based Safe Start Foundation, which provides support services for newly arrived immigrants from Ireland, was commended at the weekend by the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs. At the its annual dinner in London, Ms Liz O'Donnell said it provided "a way in for those who might be initially hesitant about contacting statutory bodies".
