GAA team news:Mayo manager James Horan is likely to be without the services of defender Colm Boyle for this Sunday's All-Ireland final. Boyle withdrew from the starting line-up against Dublin after coming down with a virus and has struggled to regain full fitness since.

The Davitts wing back did make an appearance in the semi-final as a blood replacement but his training has been disrupted in the run up to Sunday’s showdown against Donegal. Should he miss out, Chris Barrett is expected to be deployed in the half back line.

Horan, who is due to name his team after training on ??, could also opt for Castlebar’s Richie Feeney but will be hugely disappointed to be without Boyle, who had been in excellent form earlier in the campaign.

Lee Keegan, who dislocated a finger in the win over Dublin, should be available although Horan admitted his training programme has been restricted to fitness work.

“We have a couple of guys on rehab programmes at the minute but they are progressing very well and I’d be very confident in the next couple of days that they’ll be raring to go,” Horan explained.

“Lee is still a little bit sore, but he’s back running at full-tilt and it’s just a matter of time before his finger heals completely. Lee’s on track. It was a dislocation and the bone came through the finger. It was a sore event but no bother to Lee. He hasn’t done any ball work, just straight-line running.”

Elsewhere, Meath have made one change in personnel for Sunday’s minor football championship final against Dublin with Ruairi O Coileain coming into the defence at the expense of Conor Carton.

After starting in all of the side’s league and championship outings, O Coileain was forced to miss the quarter-final clash with Tyrone because of illness but returned as a second-half substitute for the semi-final success over Mayo.

Team captain Padraic Harnan and Shane McEntee, son of manager Andy, swap positions, being named at centre-back and midfield respectively.

Meath(MFC v Dublin): R Burlingham; R O Coileain, B Power, S Gallagher; D Smyth, P Harnan, S Lavin; S McEntee, A Flanagan; C O'Sullivan, J Daly, J McEntee; B Dardis, F Ward, S Coogan.
