Three new members have been appointed to Bord na Gaeilge by the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht, Mr Higgins. They are: Ms Fidelma Mullane, a consultant on Gaeltacht cultural projects and part-time lecturer from Galway; Ms Claudia Nic Dhonncha, an employee of the Western Health Board, also from Galway; and Mr Padraig O Scannlain, a marketing representative with an agri-advice company, from Dingle, Co Kerry.
The Minister as reappointed Mr Micheal Muircheartaigh (Cathaoirleach), Blanchardstown, Co Dublin; and Mr Seamas O Tonnai (former Leas-Cheann Comhairle of the Dail), Navan Road, Dublin.
