Gardaí in Galway are seeking the public's help in identifying the body of a man taken from Galway Bay this afternoon.
The body was taken from the water at Mutton Island at around 2.00 p.m.
The man is described as five feet, four inches tall, well built and with a receding hairline. He was wearing black trousers and black, laced shoes.
The body was removed to University College Hospital where a post mortem will be carried out.
