Gardaí believe two men whose bodies were found in an apartment in Limerick this afternoon may have died from drugs overdoses.

The men were discovered in the apartment in Harvey House on Steamboat Quay at about 3.30pm.

It is understood they are in their 20s and the alarm was raised after they had not been seen for a number of days.

The scene was sealed off by gardaí and a Garda forensic team is carrying out an investigation.
