George Best was in better health last night after undergoing a hospital examination, a spokesman said.
Prof Roger Williams, the consultant treating Best (54), said the former Manchester United and Northern Ireland player's health had improved, following fears that he had started drinking again.

Best has been warned by doctors that even one more drink could be fatal.
